MK Reed

MK Reed is the author of numerous comics and graphic novels, ranging from nonfiction science & history topics, to slice-of-life, fantasy, and romance stories. Their writing often examines relationships between individuals, communities, and the historical record. Born in New Jersey, they now live in Seattle with their very tall spouse and small, sassy dog.They are the recipient of the 2011 NAIBA Carla Cohen Free Speech Award for Americus & the 2020 Oregon Book Award for Graphic Literature for Penny Nichols. Their work has also been nominated for several Eisners and an Ignatz.MK is repped by Bernadette Baker Baughman at Victoria Sanders Agency for inquiries about taking on new comic book projects.
